Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer at AtomicAds, you will be instrumental in crafting scalable, highly responsive user interfaces for a data-intensive ad automation platform. Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers, you will translate intricate media-buying workflows into seamless web applications. This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of frontend feature development, UI component library expansion, and data visualization performance optimizations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy responsive web application components using React.js and Next.js. Transform detailed Figma design systems and tokens into high-quality, modular React code. Optimize user interface performance for handling heavy datasets, complex filtering, and large data tables. Actively participate in the evolution and upkeep of the organization's shared UI component library. Author clean, maintainable, and well-documented frontend code adhering to accessibility guidelines. Identify, debug, and resolve UI performance bottlenecks and browser compatibility issues. Partner with backend teams to establish seamless integration with RESTful web services.

Qualifications & Requirements

At least 1 year of software development experience focusing on frontend web engineering. Strong proficiency in core web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js. Practical, hands-on production experience with Next.js is strictly mandatory. Sound understanding of component-driven architecture and fundamental frontend state management. Demonstrated experience consuming REST APIs and integrating complex web services. Comfortable taking design specifications from Figma and translating them into code. Strong problem-solving capability with a desire to iterate rapidly in an agile startup setup.

Must-Have Non-Negotiables

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 • React.js & mandatory Next.js experience • RESTful API integration techniques • Component-driven frontend architecture • Working familiarity with Figma design handoffs

Nice-to-Have Skills & Bonus Qualifications

• Background working with TypeScript • Understanding of build tools, bundlers, and modern CI/CD pipelines • Experience constructing data-dense dashboards or enterprise platforms • Fundamental grasp of web accessibility standards and responsive UI patterns
