Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Test I, you will play a central role in delivering reliable, high-performing robotic automated solutions at GreyOrange. Working closely with developer teams and QA personnel, you will construct automated testing frameworks, write custom scripts, and execute functional and performance evaluations. This position offers a fast-paced environment for quality engineers eager to elevate software testing within complex robotics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Construct and maintain robust automated test scripts covering original features and legacy functionality. Formulate detailed testing strategy documents and modular test scenarios from functional specifications. Execute manual and automated test suites while monitoring and recording execution metrics. Partner with cross-functional software teams to identify, isolate, reproduce, and resolve defects. Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to elevate software testing standards. Analyze test execution logs, document bugs thoroughly, and suggest continuous testing optimizations.

Qualifications & Requirements

1 to 3 years of software test automation and quality assurance engineering experience. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience developing automated test frameworks utilizing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Working knowledge of source code version control tools, primarily Git. Understanding of the core concepts within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong analytical capabilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
